Randwick Council Solar and Battery Sustainability Rebates

Benefit from Randwick Council’s Sustainability Rebate of up to $2,000 for installing rooftop solar, solar batteries and other ‘sustainable products’. This is part of their Community Sustainable program where the Randwick City Council  extends support to houses, units, and businesses in Randwick to implement energy and water saving initiatives.

Because of this program, Randwick properties can obtain up to $2,000 in sustainability rebates for: energy assessments, hot water systems, insulation, lighting, pool pumps, rainwater tanks, rooftop solar, solar batteries, solar health checks and WaterFix®.

NABERS Rating and Electric Vehicle Charger are soon to be included.

Am I Eligible for this Rebate?

If you own a property in Randwick, you could be eligible to receive up to $2000 in ‘sustainability rebates’ if you purchase sustainable products such as pool pumps, rooftop solar and many more.

This applies to those who have installed their sustainable product after 11 November 2020

These costs are based on the SA Power network in Adelaide but prices may vary depending on your circumstances. This comparison assumes a general energy usage of 4000kWh/year for a residential customer on Energy Locals Time of Use Tariff – (TOU – Peak, Off-Peak & Solar Sponge).

The reference price is set by the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) for a financial year in relation to electricity supply to residential customers in the distribution region and is based on an assumed annual usage amount.
