There are many factors that influence household electricity use and solar system electricity generation such as size of the home, number of occupants, type of appliances, type of hot water system, type of heating and cooling system, available roof space, local weather and many other factors.

Below are some annual electricity bill saving estimate ranges for the solar & battery system included in this offer for Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Please note the key assumptions for these estimates.

  • Brisbane estimated annual electricity bill savings: $1,525 – $2,760**
  • Sydney estimated annual electricity bill savings: $1,570 – $2,672**
  • Melbourne estimated annual electricity bill savings: $1,128 – $1,825**

**The estimated annual electricity bill savings used the following assumptions. Average electricity rates: Brisbane 25.39c/kWh, Sydney 28.60c/kWh, Melbourne 21.19c/kWh. Solar feed-in tariff 5c/kWh. Average daily generation of 6.56kWp solar PV system: Brisbane 27.5 kWh/day, Sydney 25.6 kWh/day, Melbourne 23.6 kWh/day. Average annual generation of 6.56kWp solar PV system: Brisbane 10,037 kWh/year, Sydney 9,344 kWh/year, Melbourne 8,614 kWh/year. The low range annual electricity bill savings assume 50% of the solar electricity generated on site is used on site and 50% is exported to the grid. The high range annual electricity bill savings assume 100% of the solar electricity generated on site is used on site and 0% is exported to the grid.

*Savings calculation based on information available to Stockland as at 6/9/2022. Stockland does not give any warranty in relation to the savings calculation. Stockland does not accept any liability for loss or damage arising as a result of any reliance on this savings calculation.

Yes, the Spring Solar Offer is an exclusive offering from Stockland & Natural Solar. Stockland has used its existing relationship with Natural Solar to maximise the value to you.

There’s no obligation for you to accept the offer.

Consultation with Natural Solar and your nominated Builder will confirm the exact timing of installation. Typically, installation of the Solar + Battery system will be completed near the end of your home’s construction. This typically can be 12-24 months after settlement.

Yes, it’s very important to let your nominated builder know you are including a Solar & Battery system. Your nominated Builder and Natural Solar will need to work together to include the Solar & Battery system in the design of your home.

It’s recommended to advise your Builder Partner as early as possible in the design process about your Solar & Battery system.

  • Start generating clean renewable electricityWhen you speak with other solar panel owners, you might hear about their experiences with their electricity bill, exporting solar and how they’re getting the most from their solar PV system.
  • Shift your loadOne of the benefits of solar is that you could see some considerable savings in your electricity costs, especially if you can shift more of your electricity use to the sunniest parts of the day when your panels are producing the most solar energy. This is known as load shifting
  • Embrace your techMany solar owners find their inverter (the bit which transforms the energy from your rooftop solar panels into electricity which can be used in your home) comes with an app. If you have an app for your inverter, it could help you to see your system’s solar production and performance at a glance.
  • Check your electricity billOnce you’ve installed solar, your electricity bill can provide you with information about how you’re consuming your solar energy. If you’ve never paid much attention to the details on your electricity bill, now could be the perfect time to learn more.
  • Look after your solar panelsKeeping your solar panels clean could help your solar panels work more effectively. This is because over time, dust, dirt and debris can build up on your solar panels, meaning less sunlight can get to the panels, lowering the amount of energy that can be generated.

Typical household solar system size depends on the household electricity use, size of the home, number of occupants, type of appliances, type of hot water system, type of heating and cooling system, available roof space and many other factors.

The optimal number of solar panels and battery capacity will be specific to your requirements, roof configuration and energy consumption and will be advised following a comprehensive consultation with Natural Solar.
